Pomplemousse -- Aren't most of the existing CNU chapters near the new total? If so, the fall classes may not be that large and may be composed of the friends of friends if you will. A good characteristic of current new colonies is that they attract many women who are interested in building a new group (not necessarily joining an established group). With the growth at CNU and the percentage of the current student population who are Greek, I think DG will (like ADPi) find a good pool of interested women from which to select. Would you agree?

All of the current chapters are above the new total with the addition of their spring classes. They were all around 90 before FR, and most have graduating seniors of at least 20...The pool of interested women in the fall will be big enough to allow everyone to get great girls. My concern is mostly about the timing of when they'll do fall informal and the colony colonization. I'm sure they already have it figured out though

There's discussion around establishing a two-tier total at CNU, which would render some of this moot.

This is a random question, but does anyone know what happened with Averett College? Could they just not maintain chapters? Do they have local GLOs now or nothing at all? I know our chapter there was surrounded by a LOT of strong collegiate and alum chapters and tons of alumnae, so it couldn't have been for lack of support.
