Greek afterall....

I don't keep in touch much with my Dad's side of the family, we get together about every other 1 or 2 Christmas's or Thanksgivings. We are a small family but I just found out while trying to contact a cousin, that that cousin did go Greek after all at his college. While me, his Dad, and Granddad are all Lambda Chis, I just found out that he is a brother of Sigma Nu at his college!!! Now, I'm going to have to think of black, white and gold Christmas presents. The snake is one of their symbols, right?

Now I need to find out if his brother went Greek also at another college.

Wow, I think I need to consult...err, maybe counseling... with Mrs. Carnation about multi-Greeks in families. She is our resident expert on that subject, right?

Any gentlemen of Sigma Nu here on GC wish to assist also, please?

Dr. Carnation, ( why do I have a vision of a Pi Phi Angel sitting at a desk ( think Lucy Van Pelt/Charlie Brown ) with a sign that says "The Doctor is In".).....how does one handle all of this, as I ask in good humor and excitement, that Cousin A did go Greek after all?

Hahaha! Y'all kill me, I should probably be pictured as driving kids somewhere.

ZetaPhi, I like to email the new Greeks in the family (2 new Tri Delts this year!) and talk about the fun stuff in their future, as well as the lasting bonds. I point out how their 3 elderly Kappa Sig great-uncles are still going strong with the fraternity, for instance.

I also discovered all the low cost Greek items on eBay and try to get each new Greek something unique.

So more like a wine and blue minivan with a halo above it?

Mrs. Carnation, how about, for all of the newbies here ( unless it is listed somewhere else), a listing all of the GLOs that your family is comprised of?

'Cuz you know if we all were playing a GLO version of the classic board game RISK, you would kick all of our butts.....

Thank you, Mr. Kevin.

Do you know of a good reputable site for purchasing items for your organization, such as clothing, etc., etc.,?

He is already a brother of Sigma Nu for about one year now.

Whoa, I forgot how extensive your Carnation Nation was.

It is a travesty that Alpha Delta Pi is not listed among venerable sororities of the Carnation Nation! The next time a girl in the family goes through recruitment I know who I'll be rooting for.
