So excited!!!!

I wanted to share my cool news with all of my sisters!!!

I just found out next week I am flying to Nashville, Tn to have an all expenses paid week long campaign training with Al and Tipper Gore!!!! I am soo excited!! This is going to help me so much nationally and I am going to learn so much about campaigning. Plus, I've never been to Nashville so that's gonna be really exciting!!! I am so fortunate and thankful for the oppurtunity and I wanted to tell all of my wonderful sisters about it!!

Hey I live in Nashville... actually, I've lived here all 19 years of my life! But it's a great little city and I'm sure you'll love it

How exciting - congratulations! I worked on a congressional campaign when I was in college, and I *loved* it. Would love to make that a full-time job someday. Let us know how it goes!

You lucky girl. Post or PM me on how your job is going. I am not the biggest Al and Tipper fan, (I'll admitt i swing Republican mostly) but I would even love to work for them if given the chance. Congrats again. You rock!

Hey I meant to tell you, A BUNCH of us from my chapter will be down there This Saturday night, and if you want to meet up with us, we are probably going out then (one of our sisters is getting married!) so just PM me and let me know! Ladies, I may be relocating to Nashville sometime next summer. I know that Belmont University just started a chapter up there. I will be back in the area sometime soon so if anyone can contact me it would be awesome! LIEP!

Hey everyone!!!

Well, I just got back from Nashville and it was AWESOME!!!! It was probably the toughest 4 days I have ever been through but I met some amazing people and I learned soooo much and now all the facillitators who were there (all of which were major players in the Gore 2000 campaign) all said that we can all get offered TONS of jobs on tons of campaigns now. One guy even said that if we send him our resume, he can garauntee us at least 4 job offers by the end of this week!! ilovemyglo, Abby, I wanted to meet up with you guys so bad, but I was rushing from my vacation up north to Nashville so I couldn't set anything up before I left. I could have hung out with y'all on saturday tho

. My friends and I that had sunday flights all went out on saturday. We went to Hurricanes and The Beer Seller. I had a lot of fun!! I met this awesome guy that I would have totally wanted to date when we were at Hurricanes and he felt the same way about me, but he was on a road trip and I was leaving in the morning

. I was pleasantly surprised with Nashville, I thought I was going to have to listen to country music all week and wear a cowboy hat!! We stayed at Vanderbilt and it was a beautiful place, although I wished we had a chapter there. I started picking up on the accent by sunday! On tuesday night when we got there, we went to a dinner at this Democrat big wigs house outside of town and we had AWESOME barbecue!! We had pulled pork and ribs and awesome chicken. Al was there and it was SOOO cool!! All in all as tough of a training as it was (8am-9pm was classes and from 9-whenever we had to work on a team project) I got soooo much from it and I wouldn't trade the experience for the world!!!

Sounds like you had a once in a lifetime experience!!! I hope this experience helps you with you find that dream job. :-)
