Ashanti wannabe Aaliyah but looks like Aaliyah's little cousin that could never quite hold a tune. (I know a lot of y'all are feeling her, but I think she could have stuck to modeling.)

I couldn't agree more. It seems like Ashanti's being jammed down our throats. (She's everywhere!) Subconsciously, I think its an attempt to fill the void left by Aaliyah. It doesn't help that she had on an Aaliyah T-shirt in one of her videos.

She's pretty, but I'm not impressed with her singing. She has just had the pleasure of singing some catchy hooks in some high-profile songs.

Girl, I am so glad you posted this! Just today I was trying to make out what it said on her shirt, and all I could come up with was "yah" at the end because it was one of those shirts cut at the neck.
