Chi Omega Colonizing 175th...
Hi guys!
So, Chi Omega is colonizing their 175th chapter at my school - Quinnipiac University. I am so excited, and really want to get to know the members, and as a PNM I'm so nervous. They're going to be giving two info sessions before the semester ends, but will be on campus all week. Then, come fall, they'll be doing a formal recruitment but one separate from the University's formal recruitment week, from what I understand.
Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated!

I have no firsthand experience, but from what I have read on here, sometimes colonies like to take older girls for many reasons. These girls know the campus well, and will soon be alum and therefore build up a strong alum organization quickly.
My advice for you is to be yourself! Smile, have fun, and get to know the girls.
Good luck! I am very excited about our 175th chapter, and I can't wait to hear more from you.

I think you should probably take out the identifying information in your post to give you the most privacy. Good luck!

I agree with old row. Take out your major, minor and activities, at the least. Sounds like you have sufficient activities with some possible leadership experience in the future. I am guessing your grades are strong if you are planning on a masters and law school.
Although I am not a Chi Omega, so I cannot speak for them or to their practices,(disclaimer) in general, colonies seek new members from a wide range of classes, so that the colony has a similar mix to an established chapter. Polish up your resume, dress appropriately for the events that Chi Omega invites you to, and try to remain calm and relaxed. Good luck!

First, Chi Omega is excited to be colonizing at Quinnipiac University!
Second, Chi O colonies tend to have dynamic women from ALL years.
Good luck this fall!

I was a colonizing sister of my chapter. It's a great experience and they'll be looking for all kinds of girls to fill the spots!
