Unhappy badges on Ebay

Just letting my sisters know that we have THREE badges on ebay right now! THREE! ::sigh:: I hope these fall into sisters hands but... you never know with ebay.

That is sad I wonder who sells them. I wonder who buys them too.
Isn't there something in our national policy handbook that says that all badges are property of Sigma Kappa and they should be buried with the body when someone dies or returned to NHQ????
If someone knows, please post.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what the handbook says.
Sometimes if you e-mail the seller, you can get them to take it off and send it back to HQ. From what I understand, it;s mostly sisters that end up winning them anyway.

From what I've heard, and this was coming from NHQ, we are not to email sellers asking/requesting them to return the badges. This was also in the Triange about 2 issues back when we had the history of the badges. We have national officers that are on the lookout for badges and it is there job to get them from the sellers using the correct language and all that.

Yes it is national policy that the badges are returned or buiried with the sister, but for one reason or another (estate sales mostly) the badges can get into someone elses hands.

Hope this helps ladies!

If you have a will you need to write into it what is to happen to your badge.
