Violent Anti-African Race Riot Rocks Israel

I read a few weeks ago that landlords in Tel Aviv and Haifa aren't renting to Africans--even if they are Ethiopian Jews.
My plan was to go to Israel this summer but between the political situation and the blatant racism that's happening I'm thinking better of it. It's not like it's going anywhere...

No. I just don't think this is the best time for me to go to Israel; it's really more of the political situation but this doesn't help.

Got it. I was there in 1998, when things were relatively peaceful, but I was also too young to understand the whole thing.

Oh madmax, you're slipping. I expected something about Israelis not wanting blacks to come in and have a ton of kids or wear their pants down around their ankles.
