Please Pray for ME!

In case any of you did not know; the state of tennessee government has shut down until the legislate can determine a budget for 2002-2003 fiscal year. I work for the state of TN. Right now my job is considered an agency nessessary for the public safty but that could change at any time. If for some reason they determine my agency as a non-emergancy I could be off work indefinately. Because my husband is in school I am the only means of support we have right now so this time is very scary!!! I would like all of my sisters out there to not only pray for me but also that our state can come together and determain a budget that will be best for this state.

Please pardon me for crashing your board, but I just wanted to tell becljohn to *hang in there!* I work for Los Angeles County, and we are also in the middle of a budget crisis. We've implemented a countywide hiring freeze, layoffs are right around the corner, and we're closing down 11 county health clinics and 1 hospital. My position is safe for now, but you never know what may happen.

You're not the only one going through this! I will pray that you will be going back to work in no time.
