^^ I saw that article yesterday! I was disappointed that it didn't share any info about the book's plot. But I'm still excited!

The creepy child love at the end grossed me out.

And Twilight wasn't? Difference here is that Rowling can actually write. I mean I read Sorcerer's Stone recently and I still loved it. That says something.

No, Twilight is awesomely bad, which is different than terrible. I enjoy awesomely bad for what it is...terrible to me means no entertainment value or redeeming qualities. Heck, even if you didn't like Twilight for it's awesomely badness, it was still entertaining fodder for the butt-end of jokes.

I'm still on chapter 3 of HP#1 with my 7 year old. I may have to read ahead without her, because reading aloud is taking forever. I kinda wish the chapters were shorter for this reason. It would make it easier to fit in 10 min here and there, as opposed to having to have 45 min. free.

I saw this awhile ago and I'm cautiously excited. One of my favorite teen authors (Stephanie Perry Moore) wrote a YA novel and it was really good so I have hope for authors who transition the target ages of their audiences.

In the meantime, I'm just re-reading the series. Again.

Nope. Twilight was no different. That last book was soooo gross.

I am so excited for this. I really enjoy her writing style, her word choices, and her character development so I am so thrilled to see more of that in a different context. Honestly after all I've read about her she seems like a born writer and now she is writing simply because she loves it, not for money or because of a commitment to fulfill. She can simply be herself and write what she loves and now she's no longer limited to a genre. I'm really, really excited for this.

So, if she is writing a novel for adults does it involve adultry? The possibilities are marvelous. Think of the possible hook-ups within the original cast of characters!
