Time's Person of the Year

http://www.time.com/time/specials/pa...102132,00.html

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/456571...s-person-year/

There were many people to choose. Time did a poll with 34 candidates, including Steve Jobs, Herman Cain, Casey Anthony, Gabrielle Gifford, and "the 99%."

Who would you have chosen?

I'd say the people of Greece. That country have single handedly caused the western world to go into downward spiral and might just cause the implosion of the Euro.

As a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area where the protestors at a public plaza in the city of Oakland have caused nothing but havoc, created crime, left mounds of filthy garbage, etc...I can say that I am furious that TIME named protestors their Person of the Year!! Sorry, but I do not think that disrupting the functions and economies of our cities and shipping ports is the way to make your point!! Dammit, TIME magazine just fuels the fire! Too liberal for me!

Being named person of the year doesn't mean that they are something good, just that they made the biggest impact on the world.

Yes, Casey Anthony was one of the unpopular candidates.

I like the idea of "The Protester." They may not have accomplished anything in the US, yet, but if you expand your horizons a bit, they have done remarkable things that we'd have never guessed within the last year. And because of the protesters of the last year, Syria could end up a beautiful, interesting and PEACEFUL place. Not only can those protesters accomplish that, but Americans can only accomplish the opposite there. I think they've been an excellent example of how you can do so much more internally than externally, once the will is there.

I wish Americans would jump on Corporations Are Not People. Don't just agree. Contact your Congressmen and Senators and tell them to support the constitutional amendment. And then vote accordingly. Any elected who doesn't actively support this amendment deserves to be the recipient of PROTEST.
