Austin Powers Goldmember
I saw the preview for this movie for the first time yesterday and I am completely torn. Don't get me wrong, I will be there on opening night!!! But they needed to show more clips in the preview with Beyonce' talking. The one they showed disappointed me, cuz I KNOW she is not going to talk like that the whole movie. I think it was just a bad line they showed. I'm most uniterested in seeing her in this part. Most uninterested. But I bet she had the time of her life working with Mike Myers!!!! *sigh* I really hope she don't mess up my movie.

I think it will be fun
I see what you're saying about Beyonce not having a significant part in the trailers. I wish they would have shown more of her part so we could see what she's like. I wonder if maybe they are trying to not give too much away? It's so irritating when trailers show all the good jokes in the movie and by the time you see the movie it's been ruined.
I'm going in with an open mind. I think it's a fun choice and I'm looking forward to all the parodies they can do with her being there. (Maybe she and Britney will have an onscreen fight!)
A bunch of my sisters and I are planning on going together opening night. Some of us have to drive a long ways to get there but we really want to go togehter. We're always saying lines from the movie and joking around with it. I've been looking forward to this movie since I saw The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Girl, Austin Powers is the one movie that I would have to say, I don't think they could give away too much in the trailers!!! Because these movies have some hidden humor, y'know what I mean? The best parts didn't even make the trailer.
What's your favorite AP quote??? LMAO just thinking of them. Some of my favorites are (might as well get off topic, lol):
"I got a whole bag of SHHH with your name on it!"
Speaking fake Japanese, then, "Subtitle: ZIP IT!"
Felicity: aah gotcha, you have to answer, he asked you three times!
Will Ferrell: No, the second question was do I really have to ask you three times, which would start a new question, and wouldn't count in the other line of questioning...
(this part baked my noodle the first time!)
Fat Bastard: Look at this sexy body! (LMAO)
Dr. Evil: Are you hungry MiniMe? Wanna Hot Pocket? No? Leave Mini-Mr. Nibbles alone! We don't bite our kitty!! (LMAO!! the whole Hot Pocket thing is hilarious!!! did you notice them on the trays???)
***EDIT*** LMAO @ myself!! Mr. Nibbles??? His name, is Mr. Bigglesworth, ROTFLMAO!!! I won't even tell yall who Mr. Nibbles is, oh, lmao... ***END OF EDIT***
The part after Frau and Dr. Evil have sex, and she says, "You know, I will never love another man." And he thinks about it then says, "You're right." The first few times I saw it, I thought he was being cocky, then I thought back to Unibrow. That's hilarious, too.
I LOVE THESE MOVIES!!!! Even with Beyonce, I'm still looking forward to the third one.

Lol... Serenity you are nasty!
I'm all about "Throw me a frickin' bone here! I'm the boss... need the info...."
And the "Just the Two of Us" segment is great.
From the first Austin Powers -- I always crack up at the bathroom scene with Tom Arnold.
I wonder what kind of things are coming with Goldmember? I bet they gave Beyonce some good lines.

Goldmember video?
Nope, not yet. Is it a movie video? I mean, does it have movie scenes in it, too or is it straight up Destiny's Child?
[pauses to check the soundtrack list on darkhorizons.com]
Oh wow, she's gone solo? This is news to me. In case you haven't seen it, here's the soundtrack list:
1. "Work It Out" by Beyonce Knowles
2. "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones
3. "Boys" by Britney Spears
4. "Groove Me" by Angie Stone
5. "Shining Star" by Earth Wind & Fire
6. "Hey Goldmember" by Foxxy Cleopatra
7. "Ain't No Mystery" by Smash Mouth
8. "Evil Woman" by Soul Hooligan
9. "1975" by Paul Oakenfold
10. "Hard Knock Life" by Dr. Evil
11. "Daddy Wasn't There" by Ming Tea
12. "Alfie" by Susanna Hoffs
Looks decent enough but check out #10. Do you think Dr. Evil did a cover of Jay-Z's song? That would be freakin' hilarious!!

Basically, to me she has. On the behind access or whatever the show is called, making the video..that's it. She said that the night before filming, she was onstage with DC. Then, after the video shoot was over, the next night she would be on stage with DC. They are on tour, for what?
No sights of Kelli or Michelle on the set, nor Solange. We did see daddy and momma Knowles. There actually was another dude that did B's makeup. And, they borrowed vintage Bob Mackie clothers, so no Tina design.
The video has movie clips, because Mike Meyers was not available for the video shoot (whatever ). He sure didn't have B in the pepsi video (remember I mentioned that earlier)...

Re: Re: Goldmember video?
I saw the video. Whats up with her hair??? Looks like a dog died on her head. Any why was she even on the cover of Ebony? I wonder how the rest of DC feels about that. Does anyone know how Michelle's album is doing?

Beyonce's video
I must admit, even though I'm not a total Beyonce fan, I thought her new song and video "Work it Out" was pretty cool. I was hatin' on her a little bit 'cause I never did master the hula hoop as a child.

Beyonce wasn't in the Pepsi video b/c Britney has a deal with Pepsi. She may not have been able to do it for other reasons, but that is why Britney was there and not her.
I have yet to see the video. . . but her hair is.. interesting, at least on the Feria commercials. .

FeeFee...I'm think differently! I hate that little song. I think she looks really cute and stuff but that song can WORK ITS WAY OUT THE DOOR
