Nas?

Okay, I know that NAS stands for nationally affiliated sorority, but what i don't understand is what is the difference between this and any other NPC org. (other than the fact that that they are not a part of NPC) and the difference between this and a local? I don't think that this question really makes any sense..but can anyone explain to me what the difference is?

i'll explain it to you
we use the NAS to differentiate ourselves from teh brothers we have.. thats right... there are KDPhi boys, too. We are NOT however a Co-ed org.. we are a seperate fraternity and sorority. the boys were started up in 1900 and the sorority in 1971. We are not in the NPC because they aren't accepting new glos right now, but we are national because we have chapters all over, not just a few like a local..
