Hello! :]

Hi, I'm going to be a transfer student from Santa Barbara City College into UCSB. I'm really interested in going greek and am looking to get some more information. I have a few initial questions. Hopefully you can help me! [:

1. From what I've heard being a junior transfer makes it harder for you to be accepted into a house. How true is that statement?

2. I'd like to get some background on how big greek life is at UCSB, and a little bit about each of the sorority houses on campus as well.

3. How does the recruitment process work? None of my friends are interested in sororities and my mother didn't attend college so I have no idea how any of this works. [:

Thank you in advance for your help!

1. I'd suggest removing your name from this post so that you can retain your anonymity.

2. All of these questions can be answered by doing a search or contacting the Greek Life office.

Good luck.
