Alum Chapter Facebook Page

Ok...in addition to being secretary and NPC Delegate for my Alum chapter, I also volunteered to figure out how to make a Facebook Fan page for our chapter. (I apparently need more insanity in my life...)

I know some of you have Fan pages for one thing or another (SenI, I'm looking at you...) how do you get them started? Do I need to create a whole new account, or is it a sub-account of my main account?

no, you dont have to make another account if you want a page. Just go to the news feed home page, and on the left side, click ads and pages, and click the button to "create page."

Do you want a fan page or a group? If you want to discuss anything in the least personal, make it a group.

Also make sure to keep an eye on it for spam, etc. It annoys the crap out of me when people don't keep their pages cleaned up and there's all sorts of garbage on them.

Check out the Greater Katy Alumnae Panhellenic group page - is that what you are going for? Easy as pie to do - just make a new group page.
