Resident Evil 4

Has anyone seen this yet? Is it worth seeing it in regular format or 3D?

I liked the movie.

I did not like the 3D. The 3D wasn't that good. Plus, 3D is overused with damn near every movie being 3D now.

I didn't know there was a non3D option. I wish there had been a non3D option for my theater.

The series is special to my husband and I as we saw the second one on our first date (long story about that). We didnt care too much for the third one, so I'm just curious about the 4th!

I will mention to hubby that not seeing it in 3D is recommended.

The last 2 movies aren't as good as the first 2 movies. There was some disconnect with movie #4 but they may answer some questions in movie #5. The Resident Evil series is also special to me because I used to play the video game and my significant other is almost obsessed with the movies. We absolutely must see them the first or second day that they come out.

I hate to be blamed for not recommending 3D. LOL. But, make sure the theater actually supports non3D or else the movie could be a little blurry. One of the best 3D movies of the year is "Step It Up" and I could barely see without my 3D glasses.

i saw it, and it wasn't horrible. mind you, i haven't seen any of the other movies.

the non-3D was more than adequate (for me).

I actually had the opposite opinion. I thought the movie was kinda bland, but if you liked/saw 2/3 you know what to expect.

The 3D made it more interesting for me. I hadn't seen any 3d movies since the mid 90s, so it made the visual part of the movie pleasing for me.

I wanted to punch myself in the face and pull my teeth out the whole time I was watching the movie. It was just awful. I wanted to fight the Chairman for being neo wannabe. I wanted to kick that producer ass. And of course, the only Asian guy in the movie had to be killed. And the ending, wtf???????

LOL! I loved that show and that skit routine they used to do!

Back on topic:

My husband and I went and saw this movie last night and we saw it 3D because I could tell if I protested it, I would have to listen to complaining for quite a while so I figured it wouldnt kill me to do so. I'm not quite sure why it was in 3D. I too felt that some of the special effects were rip offs from "The Matrix" and I was I guess expecting more things to seemingly pop out at me.

I obviously now understand why there will/could be a 5th one due to the way this one ended...but I'm hoping the 5th one will be the last one because I'm not quite sure how much longer you could drag the plot out. I was however happy to see the hot guy with "star power" in the movie survived in the end of this one!

That's what I said, too!

I liked it okay and I have never seen an RE movie till this one. I liked it okay. It wasn't fantastic (I don't like scary movies) but it was okay. 3D was way overrated, in a lot of scenes you couldn't tell there were 3D effects.

I was happy Shemar made it till the end. We don't usually make it out of scary movies alive.

He's a hottie but his name, and the fact that he isn't Shemar Moore, does matter.
