I agree with you to an extent, and I'm certainly not saying your thoughts are wrong, because they're not. But for me, I feel that "routinely getting wasted" is the domain of an idiot, regardless of age (to me). As far as it being cool "5 years ago" or however many years ago is concerned, that really doesn't tell me anything, because it never has been cool, to me, and it still isn't. I don't care how old the person is. I wouldn't say they irritate me because I don't and won't go around them. I can't be irritated by a fool if I'm not around one. Again, I agree with you, I just don't think it has anything to do with age. A drunk is a drunk, and a fool is a fool, to me.

I don't know what it is but sooooo many women I went to school with called their cycle "ministration." I don't like it as a topic of conversation, but if you're gonna sit around talking about it, at least get the word right!

It also bothers me when people say "pacific" instead of "specific" and "whep" instead of "welt."

Have you ever heard "belp" instead of "belt" and "remoke" instead of "remote"?

That's fine, I just don't take things so seriously. It was fun to be 18 and doing all the things we couldn't get away with in high school. Wouldn't trade it for the world, just wouldn't repeat it, either.

NO! That's a fail if I've ever read one.

Though I do know some southerners who say "foke" instead of "fork." I said "Spell that."

Depends on what it is for me. I agree with the rest.

I cringe when I hear someone say "I love him to death" or "I love her to pieces."

These phrases just sound so unstable to me.

Particularly when they're not really brutal just petty and are as honest as a reality show is real.

Usually means "I'm a snarky bitch and every one dislikes me because I don't know how to shut the hell up."

The "brutally honest" thread that's up right now is the first one I've read (I usually don't read recruitment threads), but just seeing the phrase pisses me off lol

One I heard all throughout my seven years of living in Michigan, and despise to this day: "yous guys." Seriously, what is that? Who decided that "you" needs a plural form?

Another one that gets on my nerves is "all y'all." I say y'all myself so I shouldn't complain but all y'all just seems needlessly repetitive.

Well actually a lot of languages have a second person plural, though English doesn't. So the immigrants decided to create one.

Where in Michigan did you live? I lived in Michigan for 25 years and have never heard anyone say 'yous guys'.
