I still think that a Magicarp ending would be epic!

Regarding Smash Bros, tell me you mean the N64 version and not the Wii one?

haha, what don't you like about that word, ASTalumna06? To me it's just a name for a squirrel/ turtle hybrid.

Actually, it's my kids who were into Pokemon - one of them is an incoming freshman this year. Since my initials are EV, my favorite Pokemon is Eevee, so that's who I'm pulling for.

I'm glad to read that there won't be a clash of the nerds.

Best of luck to you in Recruitment!

LOL it sounds like the nickname of a girl who 'squirts.' Back in high school there was a girl who chewed with her mouth open and also talked while eating, and she would spit on people all the time (accidentally of course). I guess she is a 'squirtle'?

ETA: My little brother has just informed me that the correct term is 'gleeking'?

There's nothing "squirrel" about Squirtle. Squirtle is a water pokemon that looks like a Turtle and can squirt water. Its attacks are all water attacks. And, Squirtle is absolutely adorable but I have to root for Rapidash.
And, in case anybody wonders WHY I would know Pokemon.. well, my (now) 14 year old son used to be VERY into them and so did my 16 year old daughter, actually. We had Pokemon cards, Pokemon Sorry game, Pokemon videos.. I kinda miss those days

And I loved our Huge stuffed Pikachu. Peeeeek ahhh chooooo
