Bracelet beads, Pandora, etc...

So, I got a Pandora bracelet for my 30th birthday. I'm not really a jewelery person, but I like wearing my bracelet on special occassions. My sister has one as well, and we are getting my mom one for her birthday. It makes shopping for each other SO much easier! So I have been browsing the Pandora, Troll, and Chamilia websites looking for Theta related beads (kites, stars, pansies). With the exception of some stars, I haven't had much luck. But there are tons of other NPC related beads (anchors, sailboats, fleur de lis, angels, roses, crowns, etc). So I thought about trying to find ones that have our letters on them. I've only found one website (minersden.com), has anyone bought a bead from them? If so, how was the quality and were you happy with your bead?

You might try going to bead stores in person and checking out there Silver letters beads. The alphabet beads often have bigger holes that would accommodate the Pandora chain (I don't know how many mm thick the Pandora chain is). If you don't have a bead store locally, shop around online.

Here's an example of sterling Greek letter beads. They have 4mm holes, and are $1.59 a piece: http://www.artbeads.com/alphabet-bea...ter-beads.html

If these don't work, there are tons of other sites that sell similar beads. Firemountain Gems is a good site but you usually have to buy 4 at a time.

What a great thread! I was wondering the same thing! (sort of)

My boyfriend got me a Pandora bracelet for graduation (with a penguin (I love penguins!) and a graduation cap) and I wanted to put my lavalier on there. I wasn't sure if Pandora (or any jewelers) could turn something you bring in into a Pandora charm.

I guess those individual letter beads work too! My only problem would be it taking up more space on the bracelet (as opposed to 3 letters vertically attached)

Ree-Xi, those block beads are cute. I'll have to figure out what size can fit on my bracelt. Even if those blocks didn't work, it's not like they're insanely expensive so I wouldn't be out a ton of money. Thanks! I still like the www.minersden.com beads though. maybe i'll just get both, or hint around to someone to get me the one bead for a gift.

I was able to find stars, no kite though even though would be cute. Not sure if this actually what you had in mind http://www.lewisjewelers.com/index.php?sview=search&keywords=star
But the charms are in fact stars. Having a Pandora I try to stick with all Pandora beads except one my sister gave to me that says sisters. You would think they would have made one of those for Pandora but nope.

I live in the land of the knock off, and I bought 6 Pandora bracelets, full, so that I could get 2 functionally attractive bracelets. In my mix of leftovers I have a STACK of keys. I wish I knew some Kappas! They'd be thrilled. I also have 2 completely random volleyball charms. I guess I'll take them all with me in the summer when I head to the US and let everyone scavenge through my stuff. But I think Pandoras are soooo much better than traditional charm bracelets, of which I have 2, a silver and a gold. The gold one is really retarded. The bracelet gets so expensive so quickly you don't feel comfortable wearing it out! And the silver one is just so clunky...
