I've done some of it myself, although not anywhere near to the extent that Danielle has. That's not to say that non-adoptees don't do any of these things, but certain behaviors and groups of behaviors are more common with some of us. And getting counseling is just what she should do. A prescription for Xanax wouldn't go amiss, either!
I think that those "symptoms" have nothing to do with being adopted. I know plenty of people who some of Danielle's issues. It's more low self-esteem and just plain crazy than if you were adopted or not.

I agree ... but if anything leads to poor self-esteem, it's being given away to strangers at birth, having your entire background and heritage being kept a secret from you "for your own good," being raised by people who, although they are wonderful, don't look like you, act like you, think like you, or understand why you aren't just like them. It's being constantly questioned about your "real" parents and looked down upon because in some people's minds, there must be something wrong with you because your own mother didn't want you. Or thinking that you're going to bring "bad blood" into a family because you don't know your background (or are even allowed to know.) I could go on, but you get the general idea. There are many beautiful and positive and wonderful aspects to being adopted, but like everything else, there's a dark side, too. Danielle appears to have experienced more than her share of the dark side, and although I don't agree with her behavior, I can understand her issues and sympathize up to a point. I'm not asking anyone else to understand or sympathize. I'm merely stating my own opinion, as everyone else is stating theirs.

Danielle brags about her Sicilian heritage, so I seriously doubt anything was kept "secret" to her.

And that might be your experience being adopted, but not every person who is adopted is sheltered or have everything kept hidden from them.

I'm sorry your adoption experience was so difficult and traumatizing but that's YOU and YOUR experience. Saying Danielle is the way she is because she was adopted gives her no reason to be personally responsible for her own behavior. She is in her 40's with children it's time to get a therapist work on her issues and become an adult.

So someone is leaving the Housewives of NJ, according to Bravo's little teaser on Monday.

Here's a bit of a spoiler I may have found...so if you don't want to know, don't read it! Spoiler

Holy Crap can she look any tackier with that outfit?

I'm not surprised. She's not on the show as much as the others and she's mentioned quite a few times that she doesn't like being on it.

Did anyone see Watch What Happens with Danielle, where they showed the "uncensored" clip of her surgical consultation? I laughed 'til I cried!

"This was not a cosmetic procedure. {loooooong pause} I just want to make that PERFECTLY clear."

Ok Danielle, cause your boobs just ended up looking lopsided in the last year or so.

For those brave enough to risk permanent retinal damage, there's a clip from Danielle's sex tape up at UnratedPerez.com. All I can say is, I didn't know that breasts could be wall-eyed.

I've only ever had my wisdom teeth out, and that definitely was NOT an elective surgery in my case, so I have no experience with her situation. I realise that she might have been in a great deal of pain, but because her original surgery was entirely elective, shouldn't this also be?

My whole thing was, how long ago was her original surgery? If it was *not* a cosmetic procedure then it should have happened pretty shortly after the first surgery (within the first couple years). But I'm guessing this surgery happened YEARS and YEARS ago.

In the previous episodes Ashley is quoted as saying that Danielle should fix her "square tit" and although I know that these episodes are heavily edited, I'm sure that had an effect.
