I think a letter was sent to each Nationals, as well as well known teams. I know each of these teams were amoung the best, but why there shows didn't show it who knows. They all did good jobs all considered.

I doubt it.
I have not heard, nor have any of my bruhs heard of any such letter sent to Alpha Phi Apha. Our Midwestern Vice-President is a member of my chapter, and he has no knowledge of ANY communication from BET. Had that been the case, I'm SURE my undergraduate chapter would've put in their bid to represent us, as well as my own chapter.

I don't remember any letter going out to Nationals from BET. An email was sent out from BET asking for various stepteams to participate. We were never informed about the event from our National Headquarters.

I know because I have seen or heard of most of those teams performing before.

The BET stepoff left much to be desired overall. However, it is now over. Let's move on to other topics because no one will ever truly agree on the show's format, judging, or choice of teams, regardless of the outcome.
