If your friend is so interested, why are you asking us then?

I was initiated as a junior and we just initiated a senior with only a semester to go. The experiences are so great that any amount of time is worth it. Especially 2 more years.

Being a junior will be less of an issue than the fact that "he" (read: "you") has already been initiated into another fraternity...

ETA: I think someone should investigate how many threads there are titled "Rushing as a Junior," because my rough estimate is 3,874,398,763,278,632,476,928,370, give or take a few.

Since, you seem to be getting a lot of smart ass answers ill give you an answer worthy of the question. As a junior your friend is established on campus and has his goals it would seem set for the future. At his age and maturity your friend would be an asset to any organization he would choose to join. his grades would benefit his chapter as would his leadership abilities. I would say yes he should a fraternity as the contacts he makes will be life long. Just one word of advise look at the fraternities on campus. mark out their positives and negatives and choose one that will help him grow as a leader, a friend and a future businessmen. Life is to short to make a mistake and choose the wrong organization brought together by the wrong ideals. good luck.

The only answer worthy of the question, if it really is a legit question, is that no one on GreekChat can give him a good answer. Way too much depends on things like what the culture is at his school -- it might be a school where juniors pledging is pretty much unheard of.
