The PNM's are awfully lucky to be able to see each and every one! One of the really neat features of the chapter rooms is that they all have direct access from outside, no more going through a lobby and down a flight of stairs. The entrances look as beautiful as those of the best sorority houses anywhere! Another feature that is great is that some of the chapter rooms have their own, dedicated stairway to the suite style dorm rooms the floor above. The suites feature a living room, kitchenete, up to 4 bedroms and two bathrooms. It's as good, or even better, than living in a house. I have to say, I am so excited about this because Auburn has a very large and very strong Greek system which has supported each and every sorority on campus. It is about time that Panhellenic is rewarded for running such a great system. This will be the first time in a very long time that sisters and PNM's will be able to comfortably fit into a chapter room during rush. If I get a chance to take some pictures I will.

How fantastic!! This arrangement sounds perfect, the suites sound amazing (how I would have loved a suite like that when I was in school!), and the photos I saw on the Alpha Xi Delta blog were really impressive. Lucky sororities to have such support at their school. I'm so happy for the Auburn ladies! Best wishes to all of them for a wonderful recruitment!

I wonder if they'll move the Bid Day celebration down there. They have a massive Bid Day that's open to families!

To the question earlier about Oklahoma State, I'm not sure how many were registered for recruitment, but quota was 49. Hats off to OSU Panhellenic for the outstanding job they, and their university, do during recruitment!

Pearl - I would have to agree with you! I think the University really outdid themselves here. I believe it demonstrates the degree of support and regard that Auburn University has for it's Greek system.

The girls live above the chapter room on 'The Hall'. In this new Village their rooms are suite styles with common areas and kitchenettes and up to four separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. Some of the chapter rooms have private stairways that lead to The Hall, thus giving even more of an 'ownership' feel. The Hall can usually house the entire sophomore class along with the Chapter officers if it is mandated.
