OH, this is nothing...just the other day, PETA made a statement that the fish sellers at Seattle's Pike Place Market should stop throwing the DEAD fish to each other as customers pick them out. Give me a break!

I watched a PETA documentary on HBO the other day. Those folks take activism a bit too far.
One segment in the documentary talked about how PETA members dress up in cow/chicken costumes (cute ones that kids like), stand outside of McDonald's PlayPlace and hand little kids these flyers with graphic photos of what their McChicken used to be and what it had to go through (if you know what I mean) before it ended up on their plate.
I think that's totally inappropriate.

Clearly, the band's name hasn't been a problem during the 20+ years that they've been around. I wonder what happened to make this a major issue.
And yea, PETA folks need to latch onto more important issues.

I don't think that they have an issue with the name Phish...
I think they're trying to encourage people to see fish like "kittens of the sea"
