Walt could "see" things. He could sense enough about pending situations to offer a warning and sometimes cause an effect on them.

I loved that ABC showed the previous week's episode with pop-ups immediately before showing the new episode. Anyone here know why they've stopped that? They didn't last week, and it doesn't look like they're doing it this week, either. Those pop-ups were helpful!

Because they started that new series Better off Ted, or whatever it's called.

I much rather have the LOST recap show on... especially since my DVR didn't record the episode two weeks ago - feel like I'm totally out of the loop now! lol

Explain? I didn't get this impression at all. It's only Ben who's going to forget everything that happened. Is that what you're referring to?

lol--you really are.

It wasn't a dream. Kate & Sawyer gave Ben to the Others. He was/will be saved, but loses his innocence as a result.

It always happened. Everything Ben did to the Dharma Initiative happened, too. It looks like the Losties caused it all.

I like how they made sure to say "we can still die because the future already happened." Based on that logic, Who do you think we'll lose in the finale?

I understand that Ben becomes an "Other" forevermore going forward, but I wonder whether he returns to live among Dharma again for a time, to be a "wolf in sheep's clothing" as it were? I only ask because where the purge / gassing went on, Ben was in the VW van with his father when Ben put on his own gas mask and then gassed his father.

This whole T.V. series is going to turn into a giant "time loop"...kinda like how Rousseau's S.O.S. message was looping around over and over, for 17 years and counting? Coincidence? Hmmmm.......

eta: Okay, if the purge is supposed to wipe out all of Dharma, except for Ben (being a former Dharma), then how does Ethan become an "Other", when he was born to Dharma parents? More mmmm...... Maybe they don't kill the children, maybe they "adopt" the Dharma children into their Others society.

and I wonder what the "numbers" are? Are they the geographic coordinates of the Island's location?

From lostpedia (http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Numbers):
Latitude 4.815, Longitude 162.342 are the GPS coordinates that lead to a point in the Pacific Ocean on the trail from Australia to L.A. (see Mapquest: [3] or Google Earth: [4] or Google Maps [5] [the former requires Google Earth being installed])
Looking on Google Maps, 151.6 miles due east of latitude 4.815n, longitude 162.342w, you will find a small island with no discernible features of note (it is called "Manounou", and its coordinates are 4.8n, 160.4w; 4+8+1+6+4=23). Continue 108 miles due southeast of that island, and you will find Tabuaeran, also called "Fanning Island" [6] which can be found at 4n, 160w -- take a look on Google's satellite photos [7] for yourself if you don't believe it.

I think he does because he's older when he gasses his father, and he father doesn't suspect anything until it's too late. He's also wearing a Dharma "workman" suit. If he had stayed away from the time he was a child, it seems his father's mannerisms may have been different around him.
