I'm considering ordering it because it said it helps with flyaway hairs and prevents breakage. Has anyone tried this or know anyone who has? What were your results?

I haven't used this. And, I was VERY, VERY skeptical. I know hair structure and that most products don't do what they claim...
HOWEVER, the company that makes this is EQyss. They are one of the BEST shampoo systems I have ever used/seen... They are very well known in grooming/confirmation show world. I was surprised to see that they were the makers. I would actually try this knowing EQyss makes it.
****Quick lesson****
Simplified, hair has a cortex and a cuticle. The cuticle protects the cortex like shingles on a roof. It is like wind damage in a hurricane. If the shingles are torn off, the structural integrity becomes jeopardized...
If the cuticle is damaged, heat can get in to affect the cytoplasm in the cortex. Heat destroys the cytoplasm. Thus, damage is caused.
Flat out, you cannot truly repair a cortex once it has been damaged. Most products try to either strengthen the cuticle or smooth a damaged cuticle back down to the way it should lay.
So, it sounds like this product is also attempting to smooth and strengthen the cuticle... That's how it helps with flyaways and prevents breakage.
