I got the Triple Freedom Package back in July. The price of the telephone, cable, and internet were roughly the same in the long run, but FIOS is much faster than I could have imagined. Also, there's a lot more channels than I ever ordered on cable.
The downside: when you change, they have you tape a "I'm changing to Verizon..." message. But! It only goes to the cable company. It's your responsibility to do the rest yourself. Fine, but my mother (who did this at the same time) tried to cancel her ISP several times, and finally got a message that it's cancelled
today!
Also, they change the channels as they obtain new ones. Great that you're getting new ones, but it's confusing at times. Make sure that you have the remote completely explained to you, as there are several different ones. Also, even though you can watch dvds etc with the remote, they request that you call M>F, 9>5 to set the remote up for that. Obviously, they don't trust Mujambar with that!
I had a hard time getting my voice mailbox set up so that I could access it. My mother is still having problems having
all of her phones work. We're thinking about kidnapping a Verizon techie to get all of both of our troubles fixed.

Oh, and at least for me, the dvr addition was a waste of money - it might not be so for you.
All in all, however, I wouldn't dream of giving it up!
