Oh! Thank you for reminding me. I've been waiting for it for weeks and it starts in 12 minutes. I would've missed it!

When I was out in the field on an archaeology dig we would go longer than that without showers. We had baby wipes and I used deodorant because I'm uninterested in being stinky. The worst was my hair, it got so nasty from going 4 or five days without being washed and I could have dry shampoo because of smells that may attract beasties.
Oh and whale jerky is one of the oddest things I've ever eaten. Filling because it is packed with protein, but it made my breath ghastly. My relatives in Norway eat whale as well.

I'm catching the replay of last week before the new episode next. This show is stressful! Practicing releasing the boat and it flipping over... right after the lecture about "don't fall overboard because you'll freeze and die before we get to you". Agh!
I do like that the boat is named the "Steve Irwin".
ETA: Did I mention, this show is STRESSFUL!!!
ETA2: They are on a noble mission and I know they are dedicated to their beliefs, but THESE PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!!!
