1965 Pledge Manual online
The Pledge manual from 1965/1966 is available online at
http://apoko.abetterplacetobe.org/Ca...e%20Manual.pdf
Some interesting stuff. Earliest that I've seen "The story behind the founding".

Found it in passing. I was actually looking for Notable Alpha Phi Omega brothers and trying to get older stuff by looking for things with Brother and US Senator Hatfield, but not Brother Jadel. (who although in the lists in the pledge manual is arguably the least notable.).
It's gotten pretty wierd. Most of the time that I attempt to find notable brothers on the web, a good number of the hits for things that I look for are copies of the Wikipedia article that I think I've found 75% of the names for...

Great find!
Our history is soooooo rich. The Fraternity has changed through the years but looking at that pledge manual showed me how much continuity there really is.
Thanks for that.

Well, that's why some of us try to preserve it and present it so that others in the fraternity can learn it.
I'm trying to scan all our docs, including things like all the T&Ts, as well as Pledge manuals, nat bylaws, and other docs.
I also proposed doing a presentation at the upcoming Nat Conv on APO History. I tried doing that last time and got ignored...
