I just found out that my chapter (Lambda) won the Recruitment Award and recieved Honorable Mentions for Standards and Heritage. I am so proud of all my fellow Lambda ladies!

Ohhh, you know what, I totally didn't pick up the pamphlet that said who the winners were. I have the one that says who the honorable mentions were. We got an honorable mention for philanthropy!! I'm so excited!

There's a thing about the alumnae achievement awards on the website, but I don't have the info about chapters and alumnae associations.

Great pictures, Lucy! It looks like so much fun.

I just found out that our association received Honorable Mention for Communications/PR, and the chapter we advise, EN -Vanderbilt, received Honorable Mention for Most Improved Academic Excellence. I know the actives have worked really hard on their grades, and we are so proud of them!

I emailed HQ on Monday asking where we could find a complete list of the award winners. I received a quick return email saying they would be posted this week on the Kappa website. I just checked, however, and nothing yet. . .

I know, I keep checking, too. But then I remind myself that those ladies are probably busy unpacking and getting organized and back in the office post Convention. So maybe next week it'll be up!

I think they're getting closer. As of this afternoon, the banner on the website has a new slide show that has pictures from Convention.

The website is updated! You have to log in to see everything, but it's there! Reading through everything really makes me wish I would have been able to go. I'm going to start saving now for 2010!

My alma mater, Emory, won the Ritual Award.

My Chapter, Epsilon Pi won honorable mention for Philanthropy and winner for the Rose McGill in their category (chapter of about 70). I was SO proud of them! The little silver bowl they received is precious and they can't wait to display it at recruitment this fall!
