I'm excited to be a part of history!!! For those of you who will be in DC, welcome to my hometown. I plan to be down on the mall for the NPHC unity event and other festivities.

I get in late on the 12th. I am too excited. Almost done packing Soror BusyBee? I haven't even started, but I am not mad at you. I'm still waiting for a couple of essentials to arrive.

Because I had a health scare (hypertension), I've been trying to have low-level excitement about this. I have done wardrobe schematics, but I had to break them as I found more interesting stuff on sale. But I do have the final confirmation, plane tickets, etc. And ready to go.

I'm excited! I wasn't able to register for the Boule but I will be in DC for a couple days during the Centennial. I'm attending an anniversary brunch for my undergrad chapter and I intend on enjoying the surrounding festivities as well as re-connecting with sorors. I still have so much to do before I leave and it's only less than a week away.
