Report your post to a moderator and ask for the duplicate thread to be deleted. I'm sure they'll gladly do that for you.

In answer to your question, since you were initiated into a local sorority, yes, you may rush and accept a bid to an NPC sorority.

Good Luck!

We can't really answer that question for you because there are many different small southern schools that vary in the predominance and competitiveness of Greek life. Again, it would also depend what school you're talking about in the midwest.

I would suggest you try to research this by searching on Greekchat because it might not be wise to reveal what schools you attended.

Go here:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

And then enter greekchat.com into "Search within site or domain." Enter the schools you're speaking of into the main search box along with "recruitment." You might be able to find some helpful info.

^^^Agreed. If you still can't find what you need......

There are some midwestern schools that are very competitive, some that aren't at all, and everything in between. If you would like, PM me and if I don't know, I can direct you to another GC'r who might know.

Thanks for all the advice everyone It really was appreciated. I am taking some time right now to really think If I want to be greek again. Thanks for all the advice and my possible leaving of greek life has nothing to do with my bad experience. I think greek organizations are wonderful I'm just not sure there for me.
By the way sorry for editing my post to remove the words. I just realized there was way too much personal information about me on here.
