I thought it was cute. Not the best episode, but still a cute one.

I actually thought that that was one of the best episodes of the show. I was thinking about why I like this show, because the concepts are not original, the characters can be stale, and the only thing it has special is that it is about the Greek system. However, I find the appeal because I remember so clearly how everyone (including myself) thought the Greek system was life or death serious, the end all be all, the most important things ever in our lives. I don't know if anyone else felt that way, but I am sure everyone had those kids in their house.

Oh no, even in the moments I was tired of mtgs and everything, I still felt like it was super important.
And I find the characters on the show endearing. Perhaps, like you said, it's just because they're so relatable. Regardless, I'm a huge fan.

I'm rambling but...During last week's episode:
I really felt sorry for Evan. Cappie loses some points because it was obvious that Evan already had a crush on Casey when he just kind of stole her away.
Also how could Kappa Tau single Evan out as the unwanted pledge?
I liked Frannie a lot more for barging into the Kappa Tau house to drag Cappie out & for her speech during the Lil sis/Big sis reveal.
Hijack
When are the Kappa Tau's going to be member?
& When did the ZBZ's become members? They obviously are.

Are you asking about their initiation(s)? I am interested in seeing how they handle this. I might do a little bit of digging to see what I can find. I won't post spoilers, but if I find something I will let you know.

Nope, it was a shield shaped pin with a Zeta on it (like all that other pledge pins) - and worn closer to the collar. The member badge is round - and worn closer to the heart.

No, she is still a pledge. I would assume that the initiation of Calvin, Rebecca and Rusty will be at the end of this season, i.e. the end of the academic year. They are still in their freshman year, so they are probably going with a full year pledge process. Is that still common? I know pledge processes are getting shorter and shorter.

As far as I know, most NPC sororities initiated during the same semester the new members receive their bids. Though I know some chapters wait until the Fall break because of grades.
All of the IFC fraternities I am familiar with, initiated at the end of the same semester as the men got their bids.
I am not very familiar with the NPHC groups member intake process, though I know most of it is very secretive.

Thanks Theta...I know it also depends on the campus. A lot of campus have required that a pledge is initiated the same semester he is given a bid.

Times may have changed but I think there is a campus where Alpha Gamma Delta is that initiation is supposed to be about 3 weeks after bid day.

Do you know what chapter this is?
How on earth are they able to fit all that NM Edu in three weeks? Do the pledge classes meet every day including weekends and holidahs?
I pledged in January and was initiated in mid-April and even then I felt so overwhelmed with Frat Ed. I didn't think I was going to pass that test!
