Kappa Alpha in Las Cruces NM

Hey there everyone i just wanted to say that I live down here in Las Cruces NM and we are trying to get Kappa Alpha established down here. Right now we have about 12 guys and are looking forward to getting the number up to 30 so we can get charterd. Some things that we could use some help on is if anyone has any ideas about any fund raising events that we could do. Or any suggestions about Rushing. Just about anything could help. Thanks for your time and we hope to become one of the newest Kappa Alpha's out there. Thanks.

Fund raising can come in many diffrent forms. It can come from golf scrambles, leaf rakes, or just about anything. The possibilities are endless. Good luck on that end of it.

Have you been in contact with nationals? If not, the sooner you do, the better.

Rush is a whole other thing. Being a KA means that we run on 100% bids. I would hope that the group that you have now realizes that, and would not take a new member unless all of you agree with it. Its a hard rule to live by, but its something you will be faced with when you are a KA.

I think that we are the nearest chapter to you. That is the Gamma Sigma Chapter at West Texas A&M. Just wanted to say good luck to you guys. We need more chapters out here. NLI is in New Mexico this year also. One thing that we do is a date Auction. It is a lot of fun. Again good luck on getting the charter!
