Homecoming's soap box derby. We have a hill with a street that has a dog-leg turn - leads to lots of spills and excitement. Someone last year had a car that was a mini-replica of the "Eat Me" float from "Animal House". (!)

OMG, for years I lived in anticipation of the day I'd get to do the Hog Call as a student. I never dreamed I'd get to do it as a cheerleader! And the pep rallies at Arkansas are the greatest.

Pep rallies are the greatest...partly because they're only for greeks, essentially. Sure there will be a Pomfret or Yocum group, but mostly all greek.

Yay Pomfret! I lived there freshman year! But back then, all the dorms had huge representation, especially Yocum/Humphreys, and Hotz/Reid.

Don't know if you knew it, but Hotz is gone. It's no longer a dorm, only an office building.

And Yocum and Hump-dump are suppose to be torn down soon, alledgedly.

			Favorite Traditions at Purdue:
Hands down, Breakfast Club before football games. Awesome.
Purdue Grand Prix go-kart race and its week-long Greek parties

Running through Engineering Fountain on a hot day

Wabashing (being tossed into the Wabash River) fraternity guys after they've lavaliered their girlfriends or for their 21st birthdays.

Eating at the Triple XXX Diner (featured recently on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on Food Network)

There are way more, but I'm tired and totally drawing a blank...

Total hell on the arteries, though!

The Tri-Chi (all of the Greeks called it that) was one of the only non-Mexican eating options to head to after the bars closed at 3 a.m.! Most people satisfied their post-drinking munchies at the Tri-Chi, Taco Bell and La Bamba (Burritos as big as your head!)

Personally, I wasn't a fan of La Bamba. Let's just say that the food and I didn't get along well...
