Not if they're counting, which is what the riddle asked. ("How far do you have to count . . . .") Most people say "nine hundred ninety-eight, nine hundred ninety-nine, one thousand, one thousand one . . . ."

If you really want analytical, no one has even mentioned that "a" is an article, not actually part of the number.

You see a bird sitting on a twig. How do you get the twig without disturbing the bird?

Someone asked this at a party once...

You wait until it flies off on its own.

This is a story about a girl.
While at the funeral of her own mother, she met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much the dream guy that she was searching for that she fell in love with him immediately.

However, she never asked for his name or number and afterward could not find anyone who knew who he was.

A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: Why did she kill her sister?

Durrr so there would be another funeral.

These aren't even really "riddles" anymore, are they?

They both have the same amount of $$
This question is like - Which weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of lead?
