				I have no idea...

Hmm...We could discuss our favorite types of cheese! I'm partial to a good Sharp Cheddar... I'm interested to know how many other brothers share this preference.

Now this is a good topic, I'm born and raised in WI. There is no bad cheese. I top my cheese, with cheese.
No matter what California says about themselves, WE'RE still the dairy state!

				My Cheese of Choice

It depends on what I am eating or why I am eating that makes my cheese selection.
I like mild, lightly smoked with fruit and a light, crisp white wine.

I like English and Irish Cheddars with some heavier reds or Guinness.

I like a good baked Brie with toast points or apple slices for a simple appetizer.

I like a heavily smoked blend with my smoked sausage or salmon.

And of course if I am eating Italian based foods, I go with the proper Italian cheeses of the region.

I like cheese cubes! cheese cubes are good, just not when they are too sharp. A ritz cracker with some cheese and summer sausage, mmm mmm.
I don't know anything about fancy cheeses or anything, but all american fatty processed cheese is great with me, and of course a lot of my favorite foods are included in that: pizza, cheetos, cheez-its, macaroni and cheese (especially valveta shells!)

Remember brothers, doctors say keeping your cholesterol low is one of the best things you can do to ensure that you keep enjoying your cheese as long as possible!

So enjoy your cheese... sparingly!

I have been sticking firmly to a great diet and exercise plan for weeks now- but I still permit myself a single 5-6 ounce block of cheese each week at the grocery store.
NickoJCU, I share your enthusiasm for a good sharp cheese. Double Glouchester is a favorite, plus Boar's Head makes a very good sharp cheddar plus a really good white Vermont Cheddar.

I also am partial to a lot of the sheep's milk cheeses, and sometimes Doux de Montagne or PrimaDonna if I want something milder.

Cheese rocks. A tiny bit each day is my one indulgence right now.

And to Oldest Pledge- I hear you man. I am sorry about those threads, but there is no good climate for an open discussion in Beta right now- I ended up being very wrong in thinking that place could be here. That will change eventually, but for that change to happen, we have to bide our time.

Meantime, we do have good cheese...
