Yippee Skippee: I got a promotion and a raise! And they are hiring a new field person so I can have more management responsibilities.

Icky Poo: I haven't been sleeping well...don't know why. Yeah, that's lame, but I can't think of anything that's really icky.

Oh, I've got a ton! I bought my first house and moved in, and I love love love it. I also love Charlotte too, everyone is so nice!

I also have a few new Alpha Phi positions that I love, all dealing with recruitment of course. I get to work with a few schools with very different recruitment types, which I really like.

And then I'm finally making some money blogging after two years. Took long enough!

Icky Poo:

I'm totally overwhelmed with everything going on. I did nothing for the last few months, but now I need an extra few hours sans baby every day to get everything done. At least everything I'm doing I love!

Yippee Skippee---Today we had our chapter's 20th Anniversary. On April 11th, 1987, Eta Delta was established! I got to meet so many great people, especially Joanne G. I'm so proud to be an APhi

Icky Poo---school is dumb...i'm over it already, I just want the summer to come already!!

Yippee skippee--School is finally over (well its been over almost a month now..lol) And i'm now back home with my family...which is fantastic!

Icky poo--I'm not able to stay at CSUEB, so I have to go back to UTEP. I'm not too happy about that. I have 43 sisters that I left back in California that i miss dearly, and to not be in meeting with them or just hang out at the local pizza place after Monday meetings is something that still doesn't sit well with me.

Hopefully i can visit them during the Fall and hopefully some can come down and visit me---at least that is what we are all planning...we'll see what our finances say!

Like I told my sisters at our last meeting of Spring Quarter---Even though I may be in Texas, there will something that always remain constant....you and I can both look up at the sky and see the Big Dipper and know that no matter the distance we are looking at the same stars, and we'll be reminded of our bond! *Tear*

I love this! I'm sorry you had to transfer. But there's also alum stuff. One of my chapter sisters had to transfer and joined the local AC immediately. Sure she was the youngest, but she was welcomed with open arms and eventually became President. I hope you get to visit the chapter often, and maybe some sisters can take a road trip to see you!

Yippee Skippee: Okay, this is a little late, but I passed the FE exam in April. I am now an E.I. (Engineering Intern). Yeay!!!

Icky Poo: Other than my car being on the fritz, my great-grandmother passed away yesterday afternoon. I'm in Louisville right now for the funeral/memorial service.

Ok so i guess my yippe skippe would be that I found an APhi alum chapter in El Paso!! Wooohoo.

The icky poo is that they don't have a contact list. I went through the Alpha Phi website to find out about it...and they gave me the El Paso Area Alumnae Panhellenic president's name. She told me that the Alpha Phi's hadn't turned in their "paperwork" so she has no idea who the president is for the alum chapter.

How do I get in touch with them??

Yippee Skippee: I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm moving back to DC at the end of the month and will start the new job beginning of January. I'm so happy!!

Icky Poo: Now I have to make a ton of phone calls about utilities and whatnot. Oh yeah, and pay my stupid apartment for the month I won't be here. Ugh.

*Okay, I'm really bad at responding to comments. Thanks for the condolences back in July for my family. It was tough, but we're good. As for what I hope to be able to take for the PE exam in several years, if there isn't an ocean engineering exam by then, I'll either take the civil or the environmental one.*
