Betas in Iraq

I was just wondering if anyone has any brothers or knows of any brothers in Iraq right now?

I know of two here other than myself. One CPT from my chapter that I got to chill with a few times here on Balad and a SPC from my own platoon (!) that I just found out about the other day. One more guy from my chapter will be arriving in about two weeks. He is a SSG from Fort Hood.

Head down, eyes up

I do not know of any one.

I am taking care of our unit's Assistant S-4s son. She just got tagged as a single selection for a tour - her third. My wife has yet to get tagged. But there is not a lot of need for her job code and she is too high of rank to fill most of the "we don't care what job code your are" positions.

Keep your head down, eyes up. Wear your body armour from the hooch to the showers.

You will not be the same when you come home but please do everything to get here in one piece.

Cool. If you have any contact info, let me know.

Can't really wear Beta stuff during missions. Haha. Maybe when I make it down to Qatar, I'll meet up with one.

First off, may all of the Beta Brothers be safe in the battles and war zones.

We from my chapter had several Brothers in Iraq and what was neat was that they met up, took pictures and sent them to me so I could send out to my LXA chapter.

I hope you can hook up, bs a little and maybe have a brew or two to just enjoy each others company!

Nice to see a real friendly face when the going is tough!

Keep your heads down be safe and come home!

Interfraternally Yours,

Camp Arifjan

Are any of my Beta Brothers going to be in Camp Arifjan this summer? Say starting about mid July or later?

Let me know, I have someone I want you to meet, if your schedules allow.

I think it would be a great idea for chapters to adopt Beta brothers (and their colleagues) who are overseas serving our country.
