Recruitment Skits

I'm the new Recruitment Advisor for the Sigma Delta chapter of AOII. We are looking for some new skits for Recruitment. I would love to hear everyone's favorite skits they have done for Recruitment! What are some good themes? Thanks!!

Nahhh...I'd just wait til right before recruitment and let the members make up their own skit.

Congrats on your new advising role. Your regional alumnae recruitment director, or eqivalent, will have some excellent skit resources for the chapter officers to use. You should contact her immedately, if you have not already done so-- trust the chapter members to do their jobs and remember that your role is to advise the members and enforce the rules: not to plan recruitment for the officers. It's a very fine line to walk between advising and "doing" the officers' roles.

Best of luck!

Somewhat echoing adpiucf's post, I'd find out who the Recruitment Chair is immediately (committee, too, if applicable), and set up a meeting. If they're local, a lunch meeting would be perfect, but if not, use a chatroom. The important thing is to find out their thoughts, plans, and possible themes, and develop a relationship. Be there to help, but always remember that, just because you did it one way doesn't mean it won't work another - common sense prevailing, of course.

Oh, and have fun!

Congrats! You will be working with some wonderful women at Sigma Delta!

If you haven't already, please contact your CNS and MRD for skit ideas. Talk with your VPMR and ERC about what works and what doesn't on your campus. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy being Recruitment Adviser. That was one of my all-time favorite volunteer positions!
