What did you do on your 21st birthday?

I do believe I went to school to take a test then I went to work. Not to much fun on that day for me.

My then boyfriend was on deployment for my 21st birthday, but that didn't stop me from celebrating.

My 21st was on a Friday, so my sisters and my non Greek friends took me bar and club hopping. We started with dinner at 5PM and we didn't get home until 8 the next morning.

After some recovery on Saturday morning we went out and did much of the same that night!

It took me a few days to recover from that weekend.

My 21st was on a Monday, so some of my sisters took me to a Mexican restaurant at 5pm for margarita's and fun. Sounded like a good idea except we have CHAPTER at 7:30pm. And I am a LIGHTWEIGHT. So, after 2 margarita's, we head to chapter at the house(no, it was not ritual, THANK GOD!). I am actually okay during the meeting, though I did have to pee every 2 seconds. We get through the meeting and head to HAMS for some more fun. There, I consume 10 shots, the last being a "red, silk panties" shot that one of my so called best guy friends bought me. To this day, I have no idea what was in it, but YUCK YUCK YUCK!!
Now it is around 12, and we head to another bar, where I STUMBLE to the bartender and say I want my free birthday beer. He asks for my ID, which I have left back at the table. I stumble back, get my ID, hand it to him and he tells me its not my b-day anymore because its after 12. I start to cry. They take me home.
Back at my apartment, I proceed to call my ex boyfriend and tell him all the bad things he did to me(and we are still friends at this point--this is not a good thing). When the machine runs out, I call back. BAD BAD BAD. My roomates finally pry the phone away from me and put me in bed, with the trash can next to me. I wake up at some point and think I am going to throw up, so I crawl, comforter with me, to the bathroom. The puking urge passed, so I just pass out there. My roomates boyfriend gets up at some point and see's me there and being a nice guy, decides to put me back in bed. Except as he picks me up, I wake up, realize all I have on is underwear and start screaming to Natalie, my roomate, that her boyfriend is trying to hook up with me. She comes out and Keith is just laughing his ass off at me. I take my covers and storm back to bed.
Next morning--PURE HELL. I stopped throwing up around 4pm. AND we had a crush party that night, that I had to go to, when the last thing I ever wanted to do was see beer again.
It was a great night though, so ENJOY!! You can never have it back!!

Went out with my mom, grandmother and boyfriend to dinner. Then we went to the casino, where I won about $60. Then I went home and studied for a test.

But I made a 100 on the test, so I guess it was worth it

My family, my roommate, and I all went to see "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" because it premiered in my town on my birthday.

I planned a birthday dinner and invited 30 friends, all said they defaintely would come but we all forgot that it was Midterm week, so only 10 showed

(and it was on a Monday too, talk about bad timing and planning).
Needless to say I got wasted (11 shots, 2 tall beers and half a long Island...which i hate), fell down the steps of a convient store later that night, and the bar where I worked made sure I was pretty much wasted for that week and the one after.

VEGAS BABY VEGAS.

Much fun. GAwd the next day was one of the most painful of my life though! Seems like the worst hangovers I've ever had have all been in Las Vegas.

My sorority sisters and I decied that you get a Birth Month, My birthday is 2 days after new years and I went out like a rockstar!! Thursday I went to Dave and Busters and some local bars, Friday night was another girls 21st as well and we where total rockstars We hit up Hemingways, Peters, Bar 11 ( a bar simalar to Coyete Ugly) Marios, Dees... Needless to say I drank way to much and decided to try and sleep on the street, Saturday I got a VIP party at TW, Parot Bar and Donzi's we where all out like movie stars, it was the best weekend of my life ever, school started that monday and I was out everyday, also I was the only one to not puke all my friends did, I just guess I am a heavy weight. I LOVE BEING 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In BC as in most Canadian provinces, our big day is 1-9 (some lucky people like the Quebekers are legal at 18).

I headed up to whistler with my friends - 3 of us all turned 19 within a week of one another so we headed up there and celebrated. Because we went up on a sunday, only beer and wine stores were open, so we stopped at a B&W in Squamish and none of us were ID'd - which was kind of disappointing, because we were totallly psyched to be ID'd. Because my bday is in the summer I went to night clubs all the time with my sisters and friends.

By the time I turned 21 I was sick of nightclubs and the trip to liquor store was no longer exciting.

I turned 21 on a Tuesday which at my school was senior's night at the campus pub. I was psyched because from what I heard senior's night was fun. I was only a junior so I had a good 15 months of college to enjoy my legality. I woke up on my birthday, felt under the weather, and went to the infirmary. I had bronchitis

and had to take medicine for the next ten days. I spent the rest of the week in bed coughing and sweating and feeling gross. One of my sisters from my pledge class who had graduated decided to come up and celebrate my birthday. I had no choice, but to recover. A bunch of my sisters and friends had turned 21 that month so I went to the Ratt with all of my newly legal friends.

That was great!

My 21st birthday was on Thanksgiving!!! Couldn't go drinking - nothing was open!

But, on the Saturday after T'giving, my boyfriend (now my husband) took me out to a local bar that has 110 beers on tap and sells beer by the yard. There I had my first (and so far, only) yard - Harpoon IPA
