Congrats to the Stars for, once again, not making it out of the 1st Round. What is this 5 or 6 years in a row for us now?

You have teams in the NFL, NBA and baseball...don't be greedy.

Come talk to me after 5 or 6 years of not coming close to making the playoffs!

The wings got worked last night. What an ugly game for Detroit.

Of course, I couldn't watch it because I don't have the Vs. channel.

Ditto. And I'm ticked off about the Vs. channel thing. But, I watched the Pistons instead and that game was worth watching.

I just found this awesome website: http://thebrabarian.com/

Dang tonight's game was frustrating. But that's how this team seems to work. My friend was saying last night that if we're going to win the Cup, it'll take the 'Nucks 28 games to do it...

Arrrrggghhhh!

Oh well, even though we are officially done, one cannot ignore the fact that this was truly a successful season for the Canucks.

If you told any Canucks fan at the beginning of this season that the Canucks would win the NW Division title, place 3rd in the West, make in to the 2nd round of the playoffs, and be nominated for FOUR NHL awards, they would have said pull the other one, it has bells on it.

We thought we might squeak into the playoffs, if we were lucky.

Now we just need to find some offence and grit in the off-season, and then, who knows... the sky's the limit...

My oldest son and Husband are completely obsessed with hockey right now- my son has even decided that we should name his new baby brother Chelios (his first suggestion was Stevie Y). To the point that when he says goodnight to the baby (who will be born in August)- he now says "goodnight baby Chelios". Hope he's not too disapointed when we DON'T name the baby that.

Oh well. I guess since MY team (BlueJackets) didn't make the playoffs yet again, I'll have to root for the RedWings (my husband's team).

One of my co-workers' husband is a hockey nut. They named their son Easton which I think is such a cute name!

I haven't been watching. I'm a bandwagon and usually start watching (and bringing out the jersey) if the Wings are in the Stanley Cup finals.

Oh NO you don't! Cheer against the wings, it's much more fun!

Remember, you are the mother, you give birth, you pick the name. Just don't go with Nikolai and we're good.

This Versus thing really and truly is making me crazy. I have to keep up with the Wings game online, which just really sucks. But, we just tied it. Let's Go Red Wings!

My sister and her husband once had a cat named Steve for Steve Yzerman from the Red Wings.
