Meet and Greet Ideas

I was recently elected onto my sorority's recruitment team as the meet and greet chair. This is the first night of Formal Recruitment and I want to make a great first impression on the PNM's. I'm not positive about the rules yet or what sort of decorations we can have but I was hoping to get a few ideas on how to make this run as smoothly as possible

What all are the duties of the meet and greet chair? In addition, decoration use depends on campus and how closely they follow NPC's recruitment rules (for example, my campus followed them very closely and no decorations could be used until pref, however the campus I now work at, anything goes, and there the NPC rules do not matter).
