That's effed up.

Before I was greek my friends and I wenr to a stepshow and the DJ was calling out all of the orgs present. He was trying to give everyone a good introduction and he did for the most part..... When it came to AKA he started saying some stuff about AKA being the first and other things that people would identify with AKA (as he did with all the orgs) without saying exactly which group he was talking about until the end of his intro. So he was done saying what he had to say and he said, "Introducaing the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa!" Everyone in the room was like because he left off the last Alpha! He tried to do it over, but it was pontless at that point.

OK well maybe they need like a script to read from or something!! But I can't see how you can say the Divine 9 and only recognize 8! Can you count?

That's why it's so important to get well informed folks to host or MC the event. I also hate long intermission breaks, comedians, and other acts performing during a stepshow. It makes for a long and busy event. I'm part of the microwave society and can't sit still through all of the extra stuff!

Yes, I did say microwave society because I want my stepshow fix within a few minutes.

I am certainly not laughing at his mistake, because, c'mon--if you know everything else, you should at least know the sorority's name! but i am laughing because he tried to come back from it! HELLLOOOO, there is nothing you can say to clean that one up!
