My favorite rush song had a beat like the boom boom songs, but we had half the girls sing "Gamma Phi Beta, Gamma Phi Beta, Gamma Phi Beta, Gamma Phi Beta" , developing the rhythm, while the other girls sang

We do those songs too... but separately at my chapter! 
The one that would be the "boom" song is "I love the crescent moon..." and that's to that "boom-de-ah-dah" melody.
