Dang, I guess I'm not cheap at all because I've never done any of that stuff!!!! My great uncle is SO cheap. He lives in Mississippi and he recycles his paper towels! Let's just say, my tail don't use any of those napkins!!

Free bottled water and parking

I work in a small office and we have those water coolers that are kinda expensive. Well, I take an empty water bottle from home and fill it up from the water cooler and take it home. No one really drinks the water anyway except for guests when they come in.

I also get out of parking garages for free by waiting for someone else to leave and following closely behind them. This only works at the kind that are automated and unattended. We have quite a few like that downtown.

OMG, I do that too! I have a big 1.5L bottle that I fill up every day and take home. I never buy water any more.

Man everytime I go to a restarant I get a STACK of napkins, sometimes I even leave the napkin holder empty. Whenever someone opens my glove compartment, napkins come flowing out. You may never know when you need them.

What about this? Do you ever go to fast food restaurant and order something petty? There's a Popeye's a block away from my school, I luuuuv their biscuits...sometimes I just over there to order ONE biscuit at the drive thru.

Not cheap, but broke

I put in a time off request form for Thursday because I have a little bit of gas in the car and no money. (don't get paid till friday)
Don't think I have enough gas to get me to and from work till I get paid. Plus, I have Fridays and Saturdays off so i'd have a 3 day weekend

ttt...2006

My cousin is so cheap...she refuses to pay the extra .50 cents for the honey chicken wings meal from chinese restaurants. Instead she orders the regular chicken wings meal and drives to Popeyes chicken pretends that she just ordered and asks them for "extra" honey packets. I laugh everytime we order together...

You know you're cheap when you... steal straws. I can't imagine paying for a straw or pack of straws, so I pick up as many as I can from the restaurant or cafeteria.

I haven't paid retail for clothing in yeeeears, don't plan on paying it, and I still look good.

Aiight aiight. A few times, I've packed a blonde hair (blonde so they don't think I did it) in my bag and planted it in my food as I was halfway through my meal to get it free. I learned this from my father. He used to catch a roach, kill it, put it in a medicine bottle, and bring it to the restaurant.

There was a murder in the apartment complex I'm moving in. It wasn't random or anything and it wasnt a break in. The guy who was killed was a parole officer and one of his parolees did it. I already knew this a long time ago, but I called the leasing office "distraught" and said the whole situation didn't sit well with me and I was considering not moving in. How bout I get the first 3 months 1/2 off in addition to a discounted rate for the whole year. That's whats up!
LAWD! I'm taking notes from your posts!

Lemme ask you a querstion? How do you not pay retail? Do you "borrow" the clothing?

Yall, lemme think some...

When you put holes/dents in the wall you use white out instead of paint to fix it up.

You sneak in TO GO boxes at buffets. Talkin' about "Alll you can eat!".

I gets change from everywhere. I go into everyone's coat pockets in my house and at my friends' and extended family's houses. Of course I don't take it all, that would be dumb, they never notice. The last time I sent the coins to coinstar, I made $22.75!

This is my favorite method of petty theft. You need two people for this technique. We take a paper shopping bag, place it next to a spinning display of earrings and necklaces. You spin the display and then tell your peep to suddenly stop it. When it stops, some of the jewelry drops right into your shopping bag! Even if you get caught it's no big deal, just pretend that it happened on accident. You can either keep the jewelry, sell it on ebay, or give it to someone as a gift.

Before I got saved, I used to get drunk off of Scope. That's THE cheapest buzz. 1. You don't have to buy alcohol at clubs 2. If I went to a party, I didn't have to spend money BYOBing. 3. It's even cheaper than a flask, you have to buy the alcohol for the flask.

Dude, cheap is one thing, but stealing other people's money and shoplifting? Not something I'd brag about. I hope those people aren't really your friends...

Someone mentioned taking straws from fast food places, in college I'd take plasticware and condiments from the food court. I hated doing dishes so I had a ton of free disposable utensils.

I almost never buy the product brand. I buy the "off Brand" product.
ex. Equate or Great Value.

I haven't bought trash bags, paper cups or paper towels in over a year. I get them from work.
