Lightbulb BET Journeys in Black: Kirk Franklin

Tonight @ 9:00 pm EST they will be featuring Kirk Franklin in a profile so to speak. Kirk Franklin is one of my favorite gospel musicians whose music ministry has blessed me time and time again.

I know there is a "boycott" on BET but I still plan to watch it. If anyone else watches it, maybe we can discuss.

QUESTION: What (IF ANY) are your favorite Kirk Franklin songs?

I enjoy a lot of his songs including, but not limited to: Silver and Gold, CDs #2(God's Property) and #3(Nu Nation), Saviour More Than Life to Me, Something about the Name of Jesus.

Right now, my fave is the one with him and Bishop Jakes, 911.

Others:

Silver and Gold
Available (that's him, right?)
what song of his did I used to lead in gospel choir?
Love (I think this is the name.. Love, a word that comes and goes, but few people really know....)

I have more, but my CD's are in the car. :-/ I shoulda just waited to post, but I wouldn't've remembered.

Thumbs up back on topic

I thoroughly enjoyed the profile on Kirk. It was well done and I was blessed by it. I love him as a minister of music because like I said earlier, his music has been a blessing to me.

Smile Kirk's songs...

Kirk is good, but he is not Fred Hammond. Anyway, there are way too many to list, but I'll try to list some. The old time cut he did with Georgia Mass Choir, "Joy," was on point! Some other good ones are "Conquerors", "The Reason why we sing", "Silver and Gold", "Lord I need you more and more", "Melodies from Heaven", "Jesus paid it all", "He's able", and "Let me touch you" just to name a few. Shoot, I don't why they be hatin' and won't come out with a Kirk's greatest hits album ! They get on my nerves sometime, shoot !
