I just wanted to say that I am soooo impressed with members of various groups giving advice and support to other groups and to prospective new members and their parents.

That's what makes Greek Life thrive!

To quote my school's Greek Advisor (after a particularly unpanhellenic thing happened between 2 chapters on campus): "There's no reason for us to be catty and rude to each other, really, it's JUST a sorority."

And some people were a little offended by the comment but I thought it was right on the money.

Yes, we are proud sorority members, but we're PEOPLE first. And there's just no reason for a sorority to cause people to act inapproriately!

Greekchat does a good job of staying Panhellenic, even if my school can't!
