My guess would be the GLO is Pi Delta or Delta Pi with the Alpha being a chapter guard. But searching for either on Google came up with nothing for those two letters.

I think that's exactly right. My guess would be Pi Delta. The Alpha on the chain is almost certainly a chapter guard, meaning the owner was in the Alpha chapter of that group, and very likely an officer.

Nothing in Baird's on this.

The A would be a Chapter guard as DeltAlum said.

Hm, it might be a HS pin, but seems to fancy for that?

Easy to see the Pi and Delta, but do not understand the creseant for the connecting portion.

I had found a Pi Delta Alpha dentistry sorority (I think) and thought it might be a big smile, but that A looks too different to be part of the letters...

There is a Delta Pi local at York University in Toronto but this is probably not the org (also since it looks like it's Pi Delta)

Might be a long lost local. LLL.

Would that be like /\ /\ /\ in Revenge of the Nerds?

The other symbol on the badge is probably a crescent.
