In keeping with the Intimate Portrait theme, what is your favorite DC song?

Mine are their AMAZING GRACE and NO NO NO ( both versions)

This should be interesting since I'm sure the show was taped before they announced their break-up.

I always thought the Intimate Portraits were usually about people who have been in their profession in a while. I guess whatever sells.

Not only that but individuals. This will indeed be interesting.

Just last night I watched a DVD featuring Destiny's Child with the old members. I think the movie was called Beverly Hood. I was surprised it didn't just over do it with Beyonce . It featured most parts with Kelly but LaTavia and LaToya were barely shown. This movie was a'right nothing to rush to Circuit City to buy.

Girl I rented this movie and was sooooooooo disappointed! I can't believe the cover looks better than what the movie turned out to be...i'm glad I was just renting and not purchasing it.

It was aight

I would rather have had a V8 but I did get to hear Beyonce sing as a child and she got choked up adn told of her depression when L & L left the group. Nothing too exciting.

Okay although I am not a huge fan of DC, I think that the Intimate Portrait gave more insight into the way they were feeling through-out the trials of making it in the biz. I say that because other shows that have done segments on DC only focused mainly on the drama of their break-ups, cover-ups, and make-ups.

Okay my only problem w/ the entire show was their hair....now...what in the HEEZY was going on with Michelle's hair?? She had some wet 'n wavy weave, but it was dry and sticking out all over her head. Now I know Mama Knowles could've done something better to her head...Beyonce's hair was braided back, but it looks as if it was time for a touch-up or something....and Kelly, well, her hair hasn't been the same since she became a "red-head"....her weave always looks too thick in and around the edges or something....I mean, come on Tina!! She could've done something to them for their Intimate Portrait...

And, I'm glad to say that someone must have been help Beyonce with her enunciation....she didn't sound nearly as GHETTO as we all know she is!!! And her little emotional segment almost made me feel a little sympathy for her....well, almost! LOL!

I agree with what has been posted, I think this show gave better insight on what they were going through when members were leaving the group.....but....I could only stomach so much of it. I think they really were hurt going through what they went through...but I couldn't deal with Beyonce' and that getting all emotional. It still didn't seem real to me.

Now I must admit even with all the drama, I for the most part like DC's songs, but again some of that last night was really a bit over the top.

Michelle's weave did look a sight. Tina Knowles should be forced to take a "refresher" course in weaving and styling. Beyonce's emotions did not seem real to me either. Has anybody heard the reported reason for their breakup?

Where in the HELL have I been? DC3 has broken up?

You all are NOT talking about the other 2 members, but B, K, and Michelle have BROKEN up?

What happened?

They have not "broken up". They are merely recording solo projects which has been in the works for months now.

Destiny`s Child Going on Hiatus
Associated Press.

-----------------------------

NEW YORK (AP) - The members of Destiny`s Child plan to be ``Independent Women,` taking time off from the group to concentrate on solo projects.

Already, lead singer Beyonce Knowles has a featured role in the upcoming ``Austin Powers` sequel, and Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland have discussed solo albums.

The Grammy-winning trio has been omnipresent over the last couple of years, with back-to-back multiplatinum albums, a string of hits, dolls made in their images, a recent tour and a new holiday disc in stores.

Knowles told the E! Entertainment network that it`s time for the group to go on hiatus, but they`re not breaking up.

``Destiny`s Child put out four albums in four years, which is unbelievable. That doesn`t happen a lot,` she said. ``We`ve been working, Kelly and I, since we were 9, nonstop. So I think Destiny`s Child is going to take a little break.`
