This is actually just one in a number of "regional epidemics" - in one of my classes we learned about the Malaysian disease koro which primarly afects men and causes them to believe their penises are shrinking into their bodies. They become so dellusional that they often mutilate themselves to "force the penis out into the open" - these men often die fromsevere wounds and blood loss.

The verse, from the New Testament, reads "If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire."

Family members said they rushed the man to a nearby hospital in Bacolod where doctors said they had stitched up and reconstructed his penis, although it is now 20 percent shorter.

Relatives said they were unable to find the severed portion.

Doctors said the man's penis showed several wounds, indicating that the man had hacked at it several times before it detached.

"The mere act of cutting his penis signifies that he is psychotic," the doctor said, but did not indicate whether the man would undergo psychiatric evaluation.

He is now in stable condition and his wounds were expected to heal in two and a half weeks, doctors said. The man will still be able to have children, the doctor added.

The man's mother said her son had been depressed and obsessed with the Bible since his wife moved to Manila to work as a housemaid, leaving their young child to live with her family.

"He said he wanted to be nailed to a coconut tree," the man's mother said. "He had memorized the Bible and preaches with the pastors in our place.

"He also advised other people to remove nude photos from their walls so that small children will not become sex maniacs later," the mother said.

Today newspaper quoted the man as saying he had no regrets about cutting off his penis because it was driving him to sin.

Local radio and newspaper reports said the man had visualized his penis as a "cobra" drawing him toward women. [/QUOTE

Interestingly enough, genital mutilation by men is often prompted by a domineering mother, or one that inspires a lot of guilt in attempts to control a boy and in reference to sex.

There was a case study of a boy with a domineering religious mother that went down to the ocean one day, walked into the icy water to his waist and cut off his scrotum. He went home and handed it to his mother (with the testicles inside) and said something along the lines of - enough already just take these.

Pretty symbolic.

Ladies and future mothers, can you please lighten up on your sons about sex and religion? Its really not good for us.

YES YES YES
SIZE MATTERS A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT.
If a girl says it doesn't it is because you are too small and she is faking it.
EVERY GIRL A GUY HAS SLEPT WITH MORE THAN ONCE HAS FAKED IT MORE THAN LIKELY (Little known secret for guys).
When she finds a man she doesn't fake it with she either
1. Stays with him, or
2. keeps him around for booty calls.
And amongst the girls here (3 of em) we agree that a man should be between
5-10 inches with at least 1 inch girth.
So that is my thought.

Tiny = not good
I don't think it's really about the length...it's all about the girth

If he doesn't know how to use it then it doesn't really matter anyway.

I vote for top or "other." It also depends on the guy (body type and size). It seems like some guys are better at different positions.

I think it is as everything in life, everyone has their own personal preferences and likes or dislikes.

For instance, some women might like a penis that is larger while others might think that as long as the guy can work it, it doesn't matter, it just depends on what that female likes. It can also be associated with the average penis size a girl is used to. For instance, say a female has dated all guys with a penis of at least eight inches. That could tend to be average to her because that is what she is used to.

The same can be compared with males. Some males like big breasts, some don't. Myself, I don't really care for bigger breasts, I mean, what is the point? I only need a handful and nothing more. But that doesn't mean that I would (or haven't) dated a girl because her breasts were huge or because they were smaller.

I could go into the whole "fresh or not fresh in those areas" debate, but I will let tha be for now. Some people can get used to something like that, some can't. It really depends on what a perons wants, likes or expects.
